Pump the brakes bud...we'll get to that in a minute. What are you wearing in the
picture?
Oh...well those are Hulk Hands.
You're
not the Hulk though.
That's right. Thanks for pointing
that out
But
if you could have a super power, which one would you choose?
I'd probably pick super speed like The Flash. Because you can run so fast that when you jump it's like you're flying. And when you hit someone when you're moving that fast it's like you have super strength too. So it's pretty much the best power to have besides Superman.
Interesting.
Let's get back on subject...so tell me, where are you from?
I'm from a small town in Central
Arkansas called Bauxite. For geographical reference...it's just south of Little Rock.
And
where do you work?
I'm a loan officer at a
mortgage company.
What
do you do like to do when you're not working?
I like movies...tv...music...reading. I like to make people laugh. I like running and playing sports. I enjoy playing ultimate frisbee.
So
where are you most excited to go on The World Race?
The jungle.
The jungle?
Yeah, I want to go to the jungle and
pretend like I'm a survivor of Oceanic 815
How cute? A LOST reference. Moving on...how are you feeling about leaving your home for a year and traveling
the world?
It makes me feel excited. I have no
clue what to expect, but I just know that when I look back on this experience
it'll be worth it and hopefully I'll be a completely different person because
of it.
What
will you miss most while you're gone?
Probably driving....or my family and
friends. It'd be a coin flip though. Hold on....ok, family and friends won.
You're
a weird guy Ace...
It happens.
What
happens?
Being weird, but I think I'd rather
be called unique or something that's more politically correct.
Alright...we're
going to wrap this up, so do you have any closing remarks?
Yes I'd like to leave everyone with
an inspirational quote...
"Maybe your hats fly as high as your
dreams."
You
understand you're not giving a speech at a graduation right?
1. I'm the Heavyweights quoter, and glad you appreciate.
2. You referenced LOST. Awesome!
3. I agree with your superpower.
Welcome to the team!

Christopher Robin,
If I'm SportySpice, you're Christopher Robin.
I was always Baby Spice because I'm a blonde. But I'll accept Sporty Spice, she was always the sassy one :)
Shhhh! Don't tell me EVERYTHING! I have yet to see Season 6 of LOST (don't worry, it's at the top of my list. We'll discuss). But you're right, those polarbears are a little on the skinny side. ("I'm feeling skinny, Tony!").
I am in fact a lacrosse, field hockey and soccer coach. SO... learn you will! It isn't too too difficult, but men's and women's lax is TOTALLY different.
PS: aren't you from Ar-Kansas? What area? Slash... how are you getting to T.Camp? Because.. I'm probably driving through AR/Little Rock & if so we should car pooooooooool.
Your interview made me smile and your journey blesses my heart :)

over&out
No seriously, the more I look through peoples profiles the more I realize that World Racers are bananas. I'm so proud to be part of such an odd crew.
See you at training camp!
